About Me
Detailed Research into the U.S. Military during World War II with an Emphasis on the Quartermaster Corps

What I Do
While I have been a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia since 2020, I have been researching the U.S. Military at various archives across the nation for over a decade. One of the main focuses of my research has been the Quartermaster Corps during the Second World War and how the researched and developed clothing and equipment.
In 2024, I was interviewed by Avery Trufelman for the podcast Articles of Interest for her season Gear, which details the confluence of military clothing and the outdoor industry and its influence on American style, where I detailed the history of U.S. Military clothing from the American Revolution to shortly after World War II.
My current research is focused on the design and development of the M-1943 Field Jacket, the 100th Infantry Division during World War II, and usage of the Bazooka by infantrymen in the ETO.
My Specialties
I have spent over a decade going to various archives across the country and digitizing multiple TBs of documents relating to my research interests. Not only do I have period histories and reports written in the period immediately after World War II, I often have copies of the reports that those documents cite as well as other documents.
I pride myself on not only finding almost every possible document relating to a subject, from both the Army and Industry, but then weaving the story they tell in a coherent fashion.
My technical expertise and the documents I have gathered have been used by a number of reproduction companies to either help bring products to market or to further improve their wares.
